A three-day hybrid conference held at the Ampersand in Calgary highlighted the intersectionality between different sectors that engage with newcomer youth.  Due to the hybrid format of the conference, the recordings are not available. I Can For Kids is a local Calgary organization focused on addressing food security outside of the traditional food bank response. By providing gift cards, individuals will be able to access food from ethnic food stores within their own community, and in areas where accessing a food bank is not possible. They have a created a guide that teaches local organizations how to implement this initiative in their communities.
